We’re so confident of this, we offer a no quibble six-month quality guarantee – that even applies to items purchased during the sale. As long as you have proof of purchase (receipt, confirmation email or order no. will all do), then we will replace the item or give you a full refund if the product is not up to scratch.
We monitor returns within this period very closely. If we find that customers are abusing the generosity of our six-month returns guarantee, we reserve the right not to accept any further orders. This ensures fairness and sustainability for all.
Exchanges are always free of charge, you will not be charged for making a return to store either.
If you return an item for a refund, we will deduct $9.95 from your return credit to cover return shipping costs. Sales tax may apply to this fee in some states.
Can I return if I no longer have the original packaging/paperwork?
You don't need to use the original packaging for returns, though you are welcome to if you still have it. Just ensure the items are securely packaged, place any correspondence inside, and cover any old address details with the new label. Please note, as we have gone paperless, there will be no paperwork inside your order for return purposes. This is downloaded via our returns portal.
Can I return to store?
You can return items to Charles Tyrwhitt stores free of charge, but only to stores in the same currency region as your order. For example, GBP orders can only be returned to UK stores, and USD orders to US stores. Please ensure you bring proof of purchase, such as a receipt, confirmation email, or order number.
Can I return my store order to your warehouse?
Store purchases returned to our warehouse can only be refunded; exchanges are not possible. If the purchase was made with cash, the refund will be issued as a voucher. If an exchange is required, the item must be returned to a store.
Can I return if I have washed my item?
If you have ordered a Charles Tyrwhitt Custom Shirt, you will only be able to return or exchange your item if there is a manufacturing defect. If you ordered non custom items on the same order, then of course, our normal guarantee would apply to those items only.

Monogrammed items can not be exchanged or refunded.
Can I return an item that has been altered?
Products purchased that have been altered in any way (including, but not limited to, sleeve shortening, addition of pockets, trouser alternations, jacket alterations and shortening of shirt tails), are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. There may be circumstances where we can arrange a replacement if the product has a manufacturing defect. You will need to contact us to arrange a return in these circumstances
We can not accept any item back for exchange or refund if it has been altered by a third party.
